Help in getting the Download
Access Download
To get your DOWNLOAD you can click the link in your email (if your email software allows you to). Otherwise you will need to type or copy the LINK to the address bar of your web BROWSER. We show where the address bar of the BROWSER is in the picture below. Its the text that starts with "http://".
One of the most sure-fire ways of accessing the link is copying it from the email. To do this open your email and find the one we sent with the link. Now select the FORWARD command as if you were going to send the email to someone else. This will actually let you type in the email as well as highlighting words. Starting from the "www" you must highlight all of the link and then press the right mouse button and select COPY.
Now click into the address bar on your BROWSER and delete whatever is currently written there. You then press the right mouse button and this time select PASTE. You should now have just the link in the address bar of your BROWSER (see the example below). Your link will of course be different to the example shown
below we pasted the link "http://www.hgvsolutions.com/sw/an-example.exe"
Click the GREEN arrow/arrows to the right of the address bar. This will activate the link and you can now follow the instructions in our email.
Other helpful tips
If you are having problems accessing the link and you are typing it in, then please check through the following.
- Make sure that you have typed it all in lower case letters, as we don't use any capitals for our download links
- Also check that you have typed everything correctly. Its very easy to make a typo or reverse two letters. Also make sure that you have "www" at the start and the file prefix at the end
- Make sure that the number "1" (one) has not been mixed up with the letter "l" (lower case letter L) as they often are switched
