Product Details

The tomtom GO 530  TRAFFIC comes from a long line of popular sat-nav's and is very easy to use. Attach it to the Trucks window with the suction clip. Remove it easily so you can slip it in your pocket when leaving the wagon.

We provide all units with a dual 24V/12V lighter socket charger as standard, so you won't have any worried when using it in the Truck or Car. The normal features are all there, with sharp colour graphics and clear spoken instructions. The touch screen is easy to use and not as "picky" as some brands, if like us you actually have fingers that are wider than a matchstick !

The postcode feature works extremely well - drivers simply tap in the delivery address. If you take the proCAB PLUS upgrade you will also get the 9,000 Industrial estates, Business Parks and Trading Estates which we supply. These will give you extra detail and let you quickly find the right location for the delivery or pickup.

Also with proCAB PLUS you can easily see all of the restrictions and bridges on the route. Routes can be changed when planned to quickest, shortest, avoid tolls and others. You have full voice control and activation for address to make it safer to navigate to places. The quick fix menu bar, lets you setup your favourites from the front screen - a great feature. The MP3 and Hands free - provides the next sound we have seen yet from tomtom. The RDS traffic receiver is a great add-on, avoiding those jams before you come up to them. It has no subscription to pay - ever, plus it even works in Europe.

The SD card slot means you will never run out of memory space, and the synching for the mobile phone couldn't be easier. with the elegant Antitheft setup and your HOME location and rest place, navigating is a doddle. Plus the tomtom range has the very best postcodes and searches there are. Of course those who opt to upgrade to the full proCAB PLUS version of our "READY to GO" will also find even more locations, especially those hard to find Industrial estates, Truckstops etc.

As standard the tomtom comes with tomtom HOME, software to make your tomtom keep up to date. Add map updates, extra locations, graphics, voices and more. With proCAB PLUS we supply truck icons to replace the "blue arrow" used - with an Artic, Rigid, Low Loader, Crane, Coach and Transporter. When you have it all setup you can make a backup using the built in backup button.

On all the "READY to GO" units we setup the anti-theft features - which ensures that no one stealing or finding your tomtom can use it, plus it displays your name and number so you may well get it returned if you did mislay it.

If proCAB PLUS upgrade is included you also get a huge choice of proCAB PLUS POI pre-loaded including the obvious Weights, Widths, Heights, Low Bridges. But we also extremely useful, Fuels by brand, 24hrs and accessible with an HGV. Morrison's, Tesco's, ASDA fuel stations as well as all the normal ones.

Industrial Estates, Business Parks, Trading Estates, Industrial Parks, Shopping Centres are included and very useful as many of them do not show up on the regular maps. There are also the more specific ones for HGV drivers, lay-bys, Truckstops, Keyfuels, Ports, Docks & Harbours.
